Stephen A. Smith has never been more likable.

Yep. And if you look at a results map of Wisconsin from previous years, the rural northern and western counties used to go Democratic. I think it’s similar in the others, it’s the Great Lakes northern Reagan Democrats who never switched when the rest of the country did.

My hunch: It’s possible Bernie would have a smaller popular vote win than Hillary, but Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania would’ve gone for him. That kind of old-school pissed off liberal used to consistently win in these states, but they hardly exist anymore.

Not deep enough. I need those Russian piss tapes.

Yeah, I don’t follow baseball too closely, but I never heard of it until recently.

I’ve seen way more intricate stuff from high school clubs at fundraisers.

Which side did you toss your hair to when you typed that?

I think if the defendant can’t respond to a rational basis review, you’re allowed to go look for an irrational basis. It’s more or less what’s happened with LGBT rights cases.

I have an opposite putdown, actually, but I like yours!

If someone picks this up, they should check their local laws. I don’t think this car could even be bought or sold in my state without an odometer.

The reason is that cops are bored assholes. No, it doesn’t pass constitutional muster but nobody with power in that situation cares.

I’d be all for weight limits and a helmet ban.

There wasn’t an “uncreative overcompensation” option.

+1 for the mental image of an unmoving Jim Nantz being thrown.

I read the whole thing, jackass. I didn’t understand that there was a minimum spend requirement, and I still don’t think $16 million straight cash for an okay 2nd-round pick and a deferred 4th-rounder, on top of the actual salary, is a reasonable price at all, which is why I asked the question.

Ah, so it eats up money, but fake money that not everyone has. Thanks!

I don’t follow the contracts and stuff very closely. Can someone explain why a catch and release would be helpful for the Browns? Is it that they’re not on the hook for the money but get to keep the pick? If so, wouldn’t every team want that trade?

That’s already one too many. Stick to sports.

Because for people who don’t have ADHD, it attaches rocket boosters to their brains. I’ve taken it just a few times, prior to big projects at work, and...wow.
