“I’m not coasting on anything, Taylor Swift.”
I cannot give your comment enough stars. It deserves them ALL.
You’re totally correct. My response was in reply to someone who mentioned that, in particular, these women could wear whatever they wanted as long as they were “doing it for themselves.” It’s quite possible that you’re right and they just like the style, but it’s also quite possible that they are taking monetary…
Absolutely beautiful, articulate and thoughtful response. A-MEN.
True. That is correct. We all give in, in one way or another... until we don’t anymore.
You make some good points, but it still doesn’t answer my question. If you do answer the question, you surrender to making your points a little less valid.
But this begs the question as to why women feel the need to do this “for themselves.” Let’s say your answer is that it makes them feel good, or empowered. But why? And why isn’t the standard the same for men, then? I don’t see men needing to be as revealing as this to get attention. Their successes stand on their own.
Aside from his racism, there is nothing more intolerable than his forced persona and speech. He’s just all around icky.
YAS GIRL. YAAAAASSSS.
If this picture “mix up” was intentional, you’re a fucking genius, Madeleine Davies.
Gah! I feel dumb, but I’m glad you feel relatively the same, anyhow! Don’t worry... I get discouraged by stuff like this too because my interests are all over the map. But you just gotta do a hair flip and turn the other cheek. Do you, boo!
I guess I can cross jury duty off of the list of things I’d be allowed to do.
You could be on to something, there. Hits are so skeezy at the expense of peoples’ feelings. Even if they do happen to be famous. I’m sure it’s hard enough being the Duchess of Cambridge’s sister. Excessive, indeed!
Nah. You’re not particularly sensitive (unless I am). This was mean. A lot of Kara’s posts are mean.
This is just a thoughtful observation, but I find a lot of your articles (and sometimes comment replies) are on the mean side.
The worst part about this article is that it isn’t even Pippa’s fault that she’s in the public eye. Her sister married a prince. Her position in the limelight is completely out of her control, and she’s just trying to make something of it. It makes this article meaner than if it were about Kim Kardashian.
This one. This one I like. Send him to my room.
I was just going to ask: where would you party with devout religious people? A baptism? A 19 Kids and Counting series finale party?
There’s something about a beautiful animal like a bear performing for shitty food that makes me very, very sad.
