Agreed! I just wish we could all stick to the darn issues. You know, actually compare the candidates side by side, look at their voting record, evaluate their ideas, and decide who has a better resume + plan for the future.

I disagree. We all know that the president isn’t really that important (administratively speaking) when it comes down to the nuts and bolts. But, when we have a president who doesn’t represent an agenda that citizens find truthful, ethical, inspiring, and important, it tends to disengage people.

I see your point, but I think that “holding up against” a newscaster and “winning a debate against” a candidate are different beasts entirely.
