The ipad isn't meant to be portable like a phone is. Look at the nexus 7 review, it was very good, and that is a 7inch tablet (smaller then the supposed 8inch ipad). Tablets are different then phones.

playing it safe is what gets companies in trouble, look at RIM for example. This isn't coke where you drink it and piss it out after a few hours. This is a phone with tons and tons of features that would rival a modern day PC. If 2 years is their development cycle, they should really bring their revolutionary product…

just get the galaxy nexus, it works on tmobile and att so you can switch and not even sign up for a contract. Its 350 unlocked, which is a great deal esp considering free tethering. In the long run you save money.

what if they remove 3G with LTE? I can see that happen for their verizon version, probably not for the rest.

they came out with the first few android phones which led to a lot of success. Now they don't have the nexus line anymore and they don't use OLED displays anymore either. Samsung has been too aggressive for HTC with all the premium parts.

Of course, but HSPA+ saves you a lot of battery life. And if you have wifi calling on t-mobile you can go 1.5-2 days on any phone if your under wifi most of the day.

if it was a customer rep, they won't have any info on the iPhone coming to t-mobile. If you talked to top level exec, then maybe, but they probably wouldn't give you that info.

Facebook will create a mobile OS because of the power that other mobile OSes have on apps. If Apple wants to, it can remove its FB integration, just like how they never included flash on iOS to begin with. Its similar to the reason why Google got into the browser market, they want influence in that space.

Unless linux becomes OSEK compliant, and meetings all real-time requirements, it will never be used for any safety critical systems.

I don't know is a great answer for when you actually have work to do instead of being held up in meetings all day.
