I hope the Market starts to run some type of code examination to see if the app is malicious or not. That would be the best way to ensure app quality.

@GuardianX99: I'm not talking your common "auto repair" jiffy lube. I'm talking OEM requirements/specification. Plus, if you can ever get the source code to any car's engine controller you deserve a star.

@lucasway89: The OS seems like linux on top of android running in a type of emulation mode since android is still running on the phone at the same time.

@Itsmrmarlboroman2u: Its not exactly the same as your car example. GM will never give you the design specification to its engines or the source code to its engine controller. That is what software is, it is the IP.

@J Dub: its hard to fight the open source community. Remember, the people that hacked the PS3 probably work in the same industry, or used to.

@Norbs: I thought I was the only one who does that! I use hotmail for all spam from advertisers and some family I don't want close contact with. If I didn't use it since 1998 I would have just stuck the lone gmail address.
