@Nick: The CO2 output is nothing in comparison. a car produces a lot more CO2 if you put it in proportion of output from a coal plant.

@PhineasJW: it would be nice if some phones used tegra chips instead of the kin's

@Snafu77: U made my morning. thank you.

I think they are providing the N900 version only. When i try to down the file its a ".install" file and not a ".apk" file.

hilarious! I'm adding the oatmeal to my regularly scheduled websurfing :)

why is yahoo there twice?

@PhineasJW: the problem is it hurts android instead of just hurting SE or dell. google did mention a long time ago they will make android 3.0 in a way that all updates will come from market instead of OEMs or carriers.

when your only way to profitability is layoffs, guess what! your employees hate you.

is everyone forgetting the iphone+att 5 year exclusivity deal? maybe apple is developing a cdma iphone, but it can't be launched until 2012.

Kat your back? When did this happen?

the g62 is a good laptop i bought it myself with an i5 and its really fast. really nice finish, only weird thing is the touchpad since its flush with the body, and the buttons on the left side of the keyboard.

@4th_Dimension: can't it be extracted from the air as well? air contains 2% inert gases too.

@Phatric: then maybe you shouldn't compare ATT to the cheapest canadian provider as well... Its also not necessary to take a 2 yr contract in the states, tmobile offers 1 yr. It's not worth debating all the pricing here, but overall if you look at the subsidizes between Canada and the US, Canada's 3yr = US 2 yr, in

@Mr. Bean: its simply, whoever controls the browser, controls how you see the internet. look up how MSFT used IE6 to make other websites look horrible, and also how other browsers wouldn't display microsoft.com correctly.

@Phatric: are you kidding me? you can keep your 3yr contracts to yourself... Having lived in both canada and the US, canadian plans suck.

wow. I just wish tmobile would put uma in every phone they have, and not just blackberries. this would make a lot more sense then have microcell towers that feed off your internet.

@holycrap8: don't worry, its usually put online by someone anyways. just google it every now and then.

its not just the manufacturers but also the carriers. American carriers are notorious for altering phone software before release, and this causes a delay with software updates. Google please start your "components" design soon. Then hopefully we can trash everything and get all our updates from you.
