I don’t think that’s what he’s saying. He’s saying using a electrically controlled “shifter” that simulates shifting like a manual. Kinda like how auto transmissions have a manual shift mode.

Yeah growing up we had a 28 ft travel trailer. I hated staying in that thing. Don’t get me wrong it was really nice but camping isn’t really for me. Another was that thing was an absolute bitch to park and my Dad wasn’t the easiest of people to work with.
