No. I’ve actually never driven a Neon in any capacity. The SRT-4s are on my guilty pleasure list. I love them. I guess the unreliablily I hear all the time kept me away from them. Of course according to the internet my Mazdaspeed3 is really unreliable and will blow up after 100k.

Are we talking getting the OEM spec stuff or upgraded stuff? Of course you can make a case against getting any performance part instead of OE spec. However I don’t think there’s anything I can think of that I would get the cheapest of. There’s a reason “you get what you pay for” is a true statement

You can straight pipe a turbo car. The turbo muffles the noise. Think Neon SRT-4. Sorry to any SRT-4 guys but your car is a Neon.

No one’s going to argue that these are nice cars and need to be saved. However, there is a limit on what people are willing to pay for such a car. If you would buy it at that price more power to you. Vote NP all day. For me lower it a bit and then we’ll talk.

Someone may have said it already but I couldn’t find it. What about the Hyundai Genesis Coupe. You can get the 2.0T model. Also the updated ones bumped the power from the earlier models. Interiors were fairly nice and they can be had for pretty cheap.
