Kirk never choose love over duty. One of his most admirable qualities and I think the whole point of City On The Edge of Forever. Few people realise that it's Kirk preventing McCoy from crossing the street and saving keeler and not the other way around.

11 or so across the course of several years is probably a large amount to the celibate neckbeards who love original series Star Trek.

To put it quite simply, they are too stupid to understand subtext.

That's always been the case. Gender identity has long been established as meaningless to Time Lords.

She could legitimately be terrible though. Don't rule that out.

What are the chances that WAS God in the furry costume?

I think I saw the scene much the same way. However I believe Eugene killed himself because he suddenly realised he had burned the suicide note and his fingerprints were all over the gun, so he was therefore, completely and utterly fucked and obviously going to go down for murder.

It's hard to empathise with him trying to kiss her because I wouldn't. I'd get the fuck out of there as quickly as possible before she shot me and never answer he phone-calls again. I don't want to be implicated in that shit and I don't want to become enslaved in a manipulative relationship with someone constantly

She's small town attractive. I grew up in a small town. Let me tell you. None of the girls I went to High School with were attractive, except for a couple of the drama geeks, who weren't considered cool, but there was still a clique of nasty girls who certainly acted like they were attractive. I imagine this dynamic

I agree that Eugenes behaviour was despicable and a huge error of judgement, but it does make him much more sympathetic than the story we were told happened in the first season. He's still made a mistake for which he needs to atone, but the girl was also abhorrent and shares quite a bit of the blame for what happened.

I have a plugin on chrome that auto-translates 'Donald Trump' to 'Fuckface Von Clownstick' so whenever someone says 'Donald Trump' I'm like 'Who? Oh right, you're talking about Von Clownstick'.

I love Colman. I also love the idea that the Doctors new face comes from his subconscious memories of all the people he's seen. This means we could still get Simon Pegg at some point, which is my dream casting choice.

I hope they announce the new Doctor IS David Lynch.

Also, the Doctor left the blue guy there, unconscious for all eternity… maybe? At least until the black hole consumes him. I'm sure it was intentional.

11's final episode was just dreadful.

I'm super excited about the Phoebe Waller Bridge rumour and am really hoping it's true.

The zap from the Cyberman at the beginning of the episode killed him, he just had enough strength to stave off the regeneration process until the end.

I think now would be the perfect time for a female Doctor. Capaldi and Smith were both very clearly influenced by previous incarnations. Time for something new.

Yeah, it seemed like he was playing the version of the Master we wanted and not the one we got. Loved the outfit they gave him this time too.

I just wish they'd called him 'The Warrior' and not 'The War Doctor'. Considering he wasn't a 'Doctor' by his own estimation and in the opinion of all the others.
