This is the first time I’ve commented on an AV Club article in years. I used to have multiple accounts with thousands of comments, because every time they’d come up with a new comment management system I’d get locked out and have to start over. I’m embarrassed to say that I used to read almost every article on here

Imagine if all of your friends kept telling you about how fun, funny and cool their friend is and what a great time they had with her the other night and they all kept saying that you should come hang out with her sometime and eventually you agree to go hang out with her and she spends the whole time crying and

I feel like they really missed an opportunity in not having Jesus take over from God. He’s way less of an asshole and it would have resolved his storyline of never being given a chance to live up to his true potential.

I think it’s leading up to Jesus killing God or at the very least taking Gods place and forming a truce with Hitler, delaying the apocalypse indefinitely.

Its shocking to me that people are still bashing Moffat after Chibnalls abortion/ train-wreck of a series of Doctor Who. The shows absolute nadir in it’s 56 year history.

If you’re referring to Sherlock though I can understand. Everything after season 2 was terrible.

Characters in tv shows are supposed to be likeable. If I wanted to encounter horrible people like the shitbags who inhabit the real world I would go outside my house instead of eating uber eats and watching nettflix in bed.

This show attracts some of the worst people on this site / disqualified generally.

"Would mount the world", you make it sound as if Drogo and Danys offspring would turn out to be a massive slut and fuck half of westeros.

Or a Snape-like story where we as an audience are supposed to think it's noble and inspiring, not demented that this guy dies still in love with a woman who couldn't care less about him.

My response after Jon "died". Fuck everyone on this show. Let the white walkers have it.

The cops guns were still with the cops. I presume they also took the Grails rifles. Seeing as they were working for Jessie I doubt they'd part with them. THats why Tulip was asking Jessie for a weapon.

I don't see a huge problem with Preacher having a lot of kills. It's the attitude the characters have to it that makes all the difference. Nobody on Preacher kills anyone innocent, they do it in self-defense. The characters on Rick and Morty killing for the fun of it is a much more disturbing development that

Someone needs to tell Herr Starr to install adblocker on all the Grails computers and ipads.

It should have been Buble.

I think Featherstone just knows Herr Starr better than he knows himself. Like, look at this guy with all this power, clearly he likes to be dominated. It's the one thing he doesn't get in his real life.

Viewers of the show who haven't read the graphic novel or wiki yet aren't supposed to know exactly what Herr Starr means by the 'missing puzzle piece' line. Although I do think it's supposed to mean both how Jessie Custer figures into his future plans and also rough anal sex.

I think Preacher is better at existentialism than Rick and Morty, even though Rick and Morty seem to inhabit a godless universe (which is more consistent with most existentialist philosophers) and Preacher inhabits a universe we're God exists, but is at best absent and at worst completely evil.

If you don't like relentless nihilism and cynicism then no, this show isn't for you. At least it has a sense of humour about it though, unlike The Walking Dead for example.

I like it, the ongoing destruction of it and the growing number of blood-stains give it a certain charm.

I think it's building up to him attacking Tulip and needing to be put down by either Jessie or Cassidy.
