My Muscular Buttocks it's 40!

The dealership my wife and I bought her car from kept the shenanigans down to showing what the monthly payment would look like for the next trim up. I shop by total price, so it didn’t work. We had a total price limit and stuck to it.

Let’s say my loan payment was $250/mo. The F&I guy wanted to add ANOTHER $250/mo worth of crap! Insurance and extended warranties for every single thing you could think of.

You need a new stereo - the one in the car is junk!

The second any sales guy pulls any “hard” selling techniques like this for anything I walk away. That shit might work on some people but I don’t care about the context, you try hard selling me you see my back. I’ve slammed doors in so many sales jerks faces with a smile on my face for that move.

They apply that Trucoat at the factory, I can’t take it off.

That is indeed exhausting. Ive only bought a few cars new but when ive done it i have first gotten my money in order with my credit union or just been ready to pay cash and i have found that either method helps streamline the situation.

No kidding, if that manager worked for me I’d fire him straight away.

Did we have the same sales guy? Lol

Heh, yeah when I said I needed a few minutes as well the sales guy actually sarcastically said, “oh I don’t need to be home anytime soon for dinner or anything.” And when I said I’d need to maybe think about it come back the next day he said, “NO. We do the deal NOW.” I chuckled at that. Who is that fucker to talk to

Lol ok mr “internet sale manager” at a shady used car lot. Keep on defending yourself, it makes you look REAL good

Lol. Basically they wanted to offer a special warranty for the car, but after looking over it, everything in the included warranty already covered everything. It was a total BS package meant to dupe people.

Once at the sales desk the salesman’s attitude turned bullyish and condescending.

Well, we’ve already added the window etching to the car so i can’t get rid of that charge in total, but I’ll let you have it at (three times) cost”.

I’ve never been in a Kia dealership, but it is my understanding that your experience there is typical for them.

“I can give you a quote and potentially lose the sale, or I can refuse to give a quote, and definitely lose the sale.

I had a similar experience a few months back. I was clear up front that I was interested in the used car they had but needed it to be a grand less than advertised and all I needed was a yes or no on that. Once at the sales desk the salesman’s attitude turned bullyish and condescending. I walked out and bought what I

Basically saying “please let me buy a car from you” and the dealer saying “nah.” Fuckin insane.

I bought my first new car ever two weeks ago. I’ve owned roughly 10 cars but it’s always been craiglist deals or bought off forums.

You’re playing the game just by having the business.

“I also said that his store was the most convenient and that if he sent a competitive quote there was a pretty good chance that he would get the deal. I also said that if he didn’t give me numbers there would be a 100 percent chance he would lose the deal. He opted to let the other store get the business.”
