How do you keep the doors open for takeout only? Physically prevent people from sitting and eating? It won’t take long for someone to try and sit after ordering.

this seems like a pretty simple fix:
This is why I don’t like the “liquid nitrogen in food trend.” Back in undergrad, I had to receive cryogenics training just to be in a lab with a tank of liquid nitrogen, let alone use the stuff.
Somehow, I don’t think restaurant servers get the same training that I did.
Do I have to tip the robot?
regardless of whether her drink was spiked with dry ice or they added too much to the dessert she had to get part of her stomach and her gallbladder removed due to eating at this restaurant. regardless of how I think her case is extremely justified.
(Perhaps she drank it anyway, assuming the hotel wouldn’t serve her anything dangerous.)
The story contains both Florida Woman and liquid nitrogen. You can wait all you want for a “rational explanation”, not gonna happen.
It’s funny because the product would be much more inconsistent, and almost certainly worse if it wasn’t bagged.
Once I got a bagel with butter at Panera and I had very low expectations. They weren’t low enough because they handed me the bagel with 2 of those individual butter things like you get at a Days Inn breakfast and the couldn’t toast it. I don’t really eat at Panera, but I assumed a bread place that offered “bagels” had …
Wow, that’s not cool at all.
The Southern hemisphere also has seasons.
It’s weird that this is only now a thing. The few times a year that I have to eat at Panera because work people are unimaginative, they made no effort to hide the mac and cheese bag. I was disappointed the first time, but then I remembered that it’s the only thing worth having there, and is actually pretty good, so I…
If the menu doesn’t use the words ‘artisinal’, ‘small-batch’, ‘local’, and ‘animal-friendly cruelty-free bio-organic certifiably certified semi-sensitized de-glazed in cast-iron cookwear made by local blacksmiths whose DNA tests are war-crime cleared for at least four generations’, i don’t even consider eating there.
I was expecting this to be about the Panera mac and cheese.
I know of a bakery not too far from me that’s been pulling a similar scam for years. They claim to bake all their French pastries fresh and in-house, but the still-frozen eclair that I’ve TWICE had says otherwise.
That’s when I knew this story does not apply to me. : )
My family owned a bar and grill. Most of our business came from college kids and we were stringent about making sure our patrons were of age. Unfortunately, some of our competitors were desperate and stupid enough to not be so stringent. Doubly unfortunately, some of these places had “friends” in law enforcement that…
countless restaurants across the country that peddle these lies to sell $18 salads and $45 pork chops.
Have you considered writing 95 of these down and nailing them to the door of a church?
...stopped serving seasoned beef this past weekend over concerns about quality standards.
