Good thing you didn’t spend the money on a TV. My buddy did that, ended up not being able to pay it back. Best Buy sold his debt, go sued and all that fun stuff.

They were in my case. Thanks for playing though
I know the Long Island princess type. The company I used to work for had an owner who was one. She had 100 k ring, snorted coke on the conference room table, and took 50 k vacations to Costa Rica. She stayed in mansions for months there with full staff. Oh, and that 100 k ring, she lost in in the city park watching…
Man, people really ragged on you for that comment. For the record, I thought your joke was funny! It’s cute that people tried to white knight for me. Never had that happen before hahahaha
I’ve told him the same.
Thanks, she’s the best. I’m a lucky guy.
This was 6 years ago when the Denver market was shit. I got a CHFA loan for 1st time home buyers. NOW it’s 20 k at least for any house. If you get a town house built, you can get buy for less than 5 k down. But it’s out in the sticks 40 min from downtown.
We’re technically common law marriage. Perhaps just call it a gofund me trip and leave the honey moon part out? Less tack? I dunno, but, always nice to get a vacation funded by others haha.
I’m jealous. I need a new ride. Been looking around but that’s out of my price range.
Shouldn’t have purchased that M5 then
Agreed. One of my best friends just took out a 5 k loan for a ring because he felt inadequate that the girl he’s going to marry was engaged before and her previous fiance gave her a 9 k rock. Not to be outdone, he had to get her that 10 k rock.
I’m not a chump, she’s signed a prenup
We didn’t do a wedding either. Just put the money in our house to fix up a few things we didn’t like when we purchased it. I agree, I’ve never understood why people think they need to wear something so expensive. Those Zales, Jared, Kay Jewelers ads must really work!
When I bought mine I made the seller pay that shit! (BTW wasn’t implying you couldn’t afford, that may have came off wrong) It’s just nuts in Denver now. Houses only stay on the market for a few days and sell for thousands over asking. Mine’s gone from 188 k to 350 k in 6 years.
Can’t remember exactly. Down payment was only a couple grand. I’m not rich, mang
Denver is nice. If you can afford it now. This was 6 years ago when the market was shit. Lucked out there too
Exactly, and clearly made you jealous enough to comment ;)
I have my grandmothers wedding ring and asked her if she wanted that. She said the thought is nice, but she really, really hates to wear jewelry.
I’m so lucky my wife hates to wear any jewelry. Instead, we took the money I would have spent on a stupid ring and made a nice down payment on a house.
Skip and Screamin’ A Smith?
