Fellow child-free person here so my perspective may not be useful. Your sibling can make do without your mom’s presence for a short time. It is also possible your mom just didn’t want to go on this trip and is using the grand-kids as an excuse. Either way your frustrations are totally valid.
Yeah I can’t explain it but there’s a genre in my head of ‘airplane movies’ that I wouldn’t watch at home or in theaters, but I save them for airplanes. Mostly really bad chick flicks.
Yeah I don’t buy that number. If they can put them in headrests in minivans without tacking $20k on the price, it’s not costing airlines that much, especially considering economies of scale.
