Working in college is not a waste if you have no other choice. I wish I didn’t have to work in college. But I had to, to be able to afford to go, and to be able to commute there etc.
Social media. They can connect with their friends without leaving the house or putting on clothes. So they do. I have nieces and nephews that are 16 and older and they have zero desire to get licenses, and recently told me they can’t wait for driverless cars so that they never have to learn.

If there’s any way to put a long term plan in place where you eventually leave this situation, I highly recommend it.
