the electric motor kills the feedback, whereas the fluid in the lines transmit it directly. The pump just pressurizes the fluid. I am sure given enough work that electric can be as good as hydraulic. I think though that the general consensus is that it just isn’t quite there yet.

Hydraulics do provide mechanical feedback where’s electric has to simulate it. I do have hopes Porsche can perfect it. If anyone can, they will.
