90s, new body shape but still square headlights. had to use it occasionally from work. I liked it slightly better than the 90s silverado 2500 I also used, at least the s10 had some semblance of steering feel. but the silverado had balls, the s10 I drove with the throttle pegged at all times.

As with all promises, I will believe it when I see it, bud.

Good point, I keep forgetting we are dealing with diesels here. then it is volkswagen refusing to accept reality. That would be akin to them saying catalytic converters are too expensive, find another way. If a better alternative existed, their engineers likely would have found it. Instead they chose to double down.

That is just semantics though. Their profit margins are still higher than what they would be had they introduced the model 3 and kept it free. How much money they make, or even a net loss of margin is irrelevent. They are giving something that was previously “free” (whether or not it was rolled into the price of

I think the issue isn’t what andraz said, but rather that they say they won’t make a profit on this. By adding cost to supercharging, they are lowering overhead costs, thereby increasing profit margin. Additionally, if they use the money like they claim to create new stations, they will make their cars more desirable,

I drove around with my knees pressed up against the dash (only 6'1, not a giant) with a gutless engine and malfunctioning abs. Driving that car was like death. You are certainly entitled to your opinion, but if you think that car is fun, you will think a Camry is a rip roaring good time. Only decent older truck I’ve

I don’t know about the blazer but the s 10 pickup was a miserable piece of shit and I am glad I will never drive one again.

Companies do stupid things all the time. Usually people are to blame.

Encrypted. Just like hillary’s emails or countless credit breaches on “encrypted” cards. Cars with these have been verified stolen via computers with wireless transmitters.

I guess that is more of something that would be based on the car, my idle increases in park.

sooooooooo fancy!

Is that because it decreases load on the engine? I would figure the high idle park sometimes has would make it worse. Just curious, I haven’t actually determined if my car has an overheating problem just yet.

Only if I am stuck in traffic... almost never happens.

I dont like the idea from a security standpoint. It isn’t as if manufacturers are particularly good at electronic security in this day and age. I don’t mind even the fob only, just require a physical thing that can’t be mimicked on a laptop and I am happy. It just seems lazy for the risk involved.

I bet if you asked Christian Von Koenigsegg he would give a square answer though. Maybe he bought it used?

But supposedly demand outstrips supply for these cars, and lamborghini selects who gets one. The hypothetical conversation being “hey who is this guy?” “dictators son. total asshole, has had all kinds of shit confiscated in various countries.” “ well if he buys lots of cars he is good by me!”

I know but they always say that these cars go to real collectors, and if you were some joe who won the lottery they would tell you to get bent. I guess they figure sons of despotic dictators will definitely be repeat customers.

the real question is how does this turd have these super limited-edition cars? from what I understand, these companies “carefully curate” who recieves them.
