In fairness doug, I voted viper, and I am delighted you picked what you did. Plus in this case you can rub it in everyone’s face that you drive an aston. I fully exited for an entire video of smugness.

you can build a nice factory five cobra for 40g. I can almost guarentee it will be better.

That is interesting. huh. I hope to see it someday, thats where I want to work. Bet there are some pretty bitchin rides too, figure at least a few car guys work there.

I was going to say, if this happened at corporate hq you would have a lot of pissed off middle managers with bmw 3 series.

Still one of my favorite concepts, thing still looks modern. I would rather this bronco than the microbus, because I hate the environment.

Hats off to you for your self control, if that happened to me someone would be calling a coroner instead. Given his comments it could have been construed as self-defense.

Variety is the spice of life anyhow. I feel that if you have too many of the same car, none of them get done.

Putting that engine in a late 80s t/a would make you a hero

That’s a great car but imagine a turbo v8 instead of a v6. If that car would have been a reality then performance would have never died in the 80s. RIP Pontiac I will never forgive gm corporate.

tvr did sell quite a few cars in the states, I was briefly considering a tasmin 280i beater. but I am praying for a sagaris revival. It won’t ever happen but I can dream. Still another 15 ish years till I can import one

Love tvrs never heard of this so thanks! I hope this new revival will finally make them profitable. And bring them to the states

How about a best worst car?

That one dude swapped a hemi into one. Id rock that. Waiting for a prowler hellcat swap myself. Nostalgia is a hell of a drug.

I agree, my problem is that noone has tried to build the 301 turbo into what it could have been. It was a carburated, non intercooled turbo. if pontiac had managed to develop that engine it would have spanked the buick grand national. GM mandated the f-bodies share powerplants. with fuel injection and an intercooler

I have no experience with obscure japanese microvans that never made it to america, but an old, high mileage car overheats, its usually the thermostat. probably not with a slow overheat, but if you plan on keeping it, change the thermostat anyway. Those things have been the problem on many of my friends’ cars. also,

I know your pain, my 79 trans am has a 2.45 rear axle ratio. that shit has got to go, I can only imagine a 2.65 in a caprice.

Im conflicted, both 76 and 80 had piss poor passenger cars, it seems to me to go down to the fact that the 1980s had the hope of a new decade of technology, but more cars in 76 still had decent styling. the trans am lost the 400 and got the terrible/potentially good 301 turbo in 80. its a bit of a toss up.

“the 77 charger daytona is sportier than ever”

If he does this I will be extremely interested in the generation he picks. my breakdown:

I get owning alot of junkers, really I do.
