I would buy a new 80s 911 targa. Or even a turbo for that matter.

#7 you can do this. Kit cars. Isn’t the lancia 037 group b? A company called carteroni in NZ makes kits, I doubt that they would need much to be street legal in most states
lotus makes me sad. It's clear they can design the best chassis around. but they fail to realize most people are attracted to numbers. I don't think a n/a v6 is cutting it for most people at 60k. Love the style on the current gen cars.
They offered t tops because people paid money for them.
You bought one for the same reason I bought one. it is a cheap porsche. a good looking, cheap porsche. if it wasnt for the timing belt issue (and the snap oversteer, fuck BFgoodrich) I would wholly reccomend them to everyone. In my bitter post-porsche phase, I would reccomend a nice 280z or late 80s trans am myself.…
So what, Im not allowed to like the styiling of the fourth gen trans am without being a dumb redneck? It is admittedly cartoonish as hell. I love it for the same reason I love lamborghinis. Exaggeration is a part of art. TASTE IS SUBJECTIVE. I accept that you dont like the styling, and I will agree that the interior…
It is excellent to see kit car laws being expanded. It almost seems like our government wants us to have some fun again. What is this craziness?
At least in 20 some years when they are legal I may have the money to afford one haha
Looks like they worked on the visibility on that car. Can you finally see out of it? Before you would have probably driven over the edge of that canyon on accident.
These are cheap as hell right now at about 30-40k for a nice example, no exterior door handles, no a/c in many cases. A fun, reliable, horribly impractical car. Also the first gen r/t is the prettiest because I’m a 90’s baby.
None of this is new technology. It’s only combining tech we already have I.e full scale “rc” cars ala myth busters or autonomous car driving tech and one of those neural sensor helmets you can play video games with. Not really surprising
All I am praying for is that tvrs next revival brings back the sagaris. And then adds tech to get it us certified. Would that be too much to ask?
These guys are just worried that autonomous cars will put them out of a job. Because robots “never” make mistakes.
Porsche 944. No seriously. Under the carpet in the rear were two deep pits behind the wheel wells. You could easily fit A six pack of beer bottles in each side. Probably one of those large bundles of coke if you are a drug smuggler
They will never be able to cool it. I just complained in another article how the veyron needs 16 or so radiators to stay cool. This has 3 times the hp, so 3 times the heat. Top fuel engines only work because they only need to last a quarter mile. To be streetable, you ar going to have to fill this thing with liquid…
Because it's not a Miata or a Wrx
When can we agree that taste is subjective on this site? This was the first car I ever liked, besides the shitty interior every part of this car is excellent. + mr regular liked it.
I can't believe that this happens in these countries. It's not like PETA has a strong presence in Southeast Asia. A .22 air rifle and 20$ worth of ammo and the problem would be solved.
How is it possible to envy people sleeping on the floor? Now I know
I actually like the hybrids. Isnt the 918 like 70mpg? That seems like an intelligent way to improve usable performance while adding economy. I have shifted my focus to kit cars. lightweight, no traction control, cheap. I want an ultima evolution. 120K$ for 750Hp in a real race chassis. God willing I actually be able…
