FWIW, my little brother started going bald around 17, and started using Rogaine right away religiously. Now, 7 years later, he is completely bald on top. It didn’t save his hair at all. You should read “NeuroTribes” by Steve Silberman. It’s full of smart “weirdos.” It goes into the history of autism and makes the case that autistic intelligence has been responsible for a lot of the great leaps forward in technology, art and science.

It’s thought that it’s an even or almost even gender split, but because the of the way we socialize girls, they’re more adept at “faking” normal social interactions that keep them from getting the diagnoses. It’s a shame, because it leads to an inequity in the amount of services they receive.
