Everything about the situation rubs me the wrong way, but its amazing the amount of force that cops feel they need to use when in numbers “against” an unarmed “suspect.”

If Brown doesn’t sing “money, money, money” after winning what should be a quick lawsuit, then what’s this all been for? What are we even doing here?
On the contrary, they are lying very effectively. This is exactly what what Putin does. Kremlinologists call it the Firehose of Falsehood. It is intended to quite literally undermine reality and brainwash people, and it’s working, as evidenced by the rising number of people who think the Russia investigation is a…
Trump pardoning himself would effectively be an confession of guilt, and a call for himself to be impeached. He won’t go to jail, but he would need to be removed from office.
It’s the acceptance of the pardon that implies an admission of guilt.
I think the current narrative is this:
The president can’t obstruct justice because he is the president, but even if he did it wasn’t obstruction and that even if he could obstruct justice, he can pardon himself, which he would never do.
Also, he can’t be interviewed by Mueller because if he did, it’s a perjury trap…
I mean we all knew they wouldn’t do anything about it, but now it’s the official position of the GOP the President can not be guilty of obstruction of justice.
Because his denial was ridiculous. Had he just said he fucked up to begin with it would have been over much quicker.
“I didn’t do it. Jay didn’t do it. Jane [Raskin] didn’t do it. Marty [Raskin] didn’t do it. Pat [Robertson] didn’t do it. We didn’t do it.”
JR Smith is the best person for this to happen to, since it won’t shake his confidence at all. He is still going to take 30 3s in game 2, maybe he will score 0 points, maybe 90; either way it won’t affect him.
So, uhh. What’s.. what’s going on with this exchange here, Mr Burner?
I’m not a huge basketball fan, but I gotta say that I love LeBron. I really can’t think of a megastar athlete in my lifetime (born in 1981) who is more charismatic and seems like a real human being than him. The Decision was a bunch of bullshit, and I know he cares deeply about his image, but I can’t remember a huge…
Much of the Cavs struggles this year can be traced to the absence of James Jones. I mean, the man made seven straight Finals.
Even if the Sixers fired Colangelo and hired David Griffin as their new GM, would they have enough cap room to be able to afford both LeBron *and* JR Smith? What good is one without the other?

Chris, the 76ers don’t want him because LeBron will ruin the development of Embiid/Simmons.
I’m so happy that in the Adam silver nba the story is the games and not the commissioners office or discipline. Maybe we needed stern to change the culture from the hockey style enforcers and toughness to today’s chest puffing ‘fights’, or maybe that would have happened anyway as free agency and salaries changed…
I hate Draymond Green. And not in, like, a “he’s fun to hate” kind of way. Guy is just a fucking dickbag.
I’m so bored with my dislike of Draymond Green. He’s like a Hummer in human form. Loud, full of gas and destroying every environment with his obnoxiousness.
“I mean, it’s like the unspoken rule in the NBA: If you’re up 10 or 11 with about 20 seconds left, you don’t take that shot.”
