That’s a very obtuse way to see it. I can think of many games that don’t exist yet that would be perfect for Switch.

As you will note, video games and other media properties are not on that list

Sales aside, these games were also directed by Michel Ancel, who is now neck deep in Beyond Good & Evil 2. So I wouldn’t expect a new Rayman anytime soon (unless they make it without Ancel’s involvement).

I’d love to see Nintendo do more 2D platformers in this kind of hand-drawn style (or something à la Rayman Origins). I’m kinda tired of the 2.5D style of all the New Super Mario Bros., Yoshi and other Kirby games.

Still sad it didn’t get announced for Switch during Nintendo’s Direct :(

I eventually wanna pick it up. Just waiting for a good sale. I was neck deep in other games back when it came out, and it sadly fell of my radar. So many games, so little time!

It plays out a lot like Deus Ex, minus the stealth, and with what appears to be more interesting gunplay.

Maybe the game is going to be featured in Microsoft’s conference tomorrow and they wanted the news out first? Otherwise, it’s indeed weird for them to announce that out of the blue before their own conference on Monday. But then again, it’s Square-Enix we’re talking about.

And Shadow of the Tomb Raider on September 14th. It’s gonna be a busy month.

It was a deal-breaker for me. The game looked interesting, but after sinking many hours in, I combat system was such a turn-off, I ended up dropping the game entirely.

I’ve had the game installed on my phone for a few weeks now (it soft-launched in Canada a while ago), but I’ve yet to try it. But now that I’m seeing all these articles pop up... let’s say it hasn’t done anything to make me look forward to “playing” it.

I’m not swooning. I’m just admiring the work.

What constitutes “Kililng it”?

P.T.

I wouldn’t call it a bad game by any measure! The Batmobile has been shoehorned in one too many missions, but other than that, it’s a great game, really. Totally give it a try if you feel like it.

So can we assume Octopath Traveler will me the final name of the game? I don’t remember seeing any “tentative title” denominations in yesterday’s Direct has there has been in the past.

Is the game actually running on mobile, or is it running on a remote server and streaming to your device (à la PS Now)?

A small note about J. K. Rowling: Gita mentioned Rowling has only published one non-Harry Potter book after the series conclusion (The Casual Vacancy). But she also has a crime fiction series, Cormoran Strike, which she publishes under the pen name Robert Galbraith, with three volumes already out and a fourth on the
