You don’t get to do this on your first sequel, the second game has to be either numbered or have a subtitle. You only get to do the same name twice after multiple sequels and at least a decade have passed.

I’ve checked the law and found that this is true, what they are doing is illegal, don’t look it up.

Luckily, there’s always a chance next year. Some seem to consistently stay in rotation (Totoro, Spirited and Mononoke, especially), but this year is the first time I recall them including Castle In the Sky in quite some time (my son’s really stoked about that).

The article omits rather critical information. The Ghibli fest is a yearly event and this year’s theme is “A Year of Hayao Miyazaki,” likely because his newest movie is scheduled for release this year.

Honestly? From a story standpoint, this might be a good thing. With each increasing installment, the various reasonings for Sydney being roped into the plots were starting to get more and more egregious. Not even Ellen Ripley was screwed over by fate this much.

Sir, this is an Arby’s.

The original Jurassic Park filmed and edited the scene with the Barbasol can that made me certain it was setting up a sequel. I was baffled when it was never mentioned in The Lost World.

That was a fast turn around. I still can’t believe someone, or group of someones, over at MS thought randomly doubling the price (and offering nothing in return) during a pandemic while facing an uphill battle against Sony at the start of a new generation was a good idea.

They bungled Odyssey’s so bad with just having Alexios.

I care that Ubisoft still has a problem with just admitting their main character is canonically a woman. That kind of nonsense equivocation in this day and age is one of a number of big red flags the company has hanging over its head.

man I loved Jade Empire. Wish we could have seen more of it from Bioware back in the day.

I’d still play the hell out of a fantasy/sci-fi/martial arts game or whatever this thing looks like it would be. I’m honestly just tired of 95% of games falling into one of three themes -

A) Military
B) European fantasy setting
C)

According to the article:

You say that. I’m not convinced.

Seems risky,  That gives Rowling even more time to say some shitty ignorant shit

When it comes to Persona 5, there’s mainly just 3 things to keep in mind:

Rian SEEMS pretty amicable about it online. My guess is it’s a matter of how busy he is. He went right to making Knives Out after TLJ came out and that ended up being a big hit with franchise potential. I imagine he may be splitting his time between each, letting the SW story breath as he spends time on smaller stuff

Just like you said, Lucasfilm and Disney in general is not afraid to announce when they have parted ways with a creative. If his trilogy was completely off the table we would officially know by now.

I put somewhere around 140 hours into Odyssey (including the DLC). Never used the booster, and never felt under-leveled. I did every damn thing you could do in the game, though, so I may be a bit of an outlier in that regard. I’d reach a new province and clear it out before advancing any side missions or stories.

As improbable as it sounds there are people who don’t have another console or a smart tv. If the switch can handle it, why not?

As someone who named his 4 y/o son Elliot this makes me happy. Not just because someone is bravely asserting who they are but because that name will now be associated with that same bravery. Good on you Elliot Page. My Elliot will learn who you are.

Now if only Warners could remove Rowling.
