When the games actually come out, all of these hacked Pokémon will get lost in a sea of level 1 Rattatas anyway :P

Why is that concerning? It simply allows you to tap your card instead of entering the card details manually. “Payment over consumer electronics”: if you want you can order a Square card reader and start accepting payments in your living room tomorrow.

The situation you are in is very different from the reality of a major video game developer. AAA productions like that can have hundreds of people working on it (programmers, artists, testers, etc.), but nothing they work on is allowed to be brought outside the studio. Only a handful of people (directors, producers,

Yeah, and also, the number of people with a work laptop having access to this kind of information outside of the office is usually pretty limited. I have no doubt they will be able to identify the person pretty quickly.

In that case, I doubt it was intended as a secret message. It’s most probably text the developers put in to inform the QA testers that they’ve gotten somewhere they’re not supposed to go, which could lead to a game-breaking bug.

Yes! Never enough tombs! But there were already quite a few more (and more interesting ones) than in the 2013 game, I have to admit. :)

Same. I would have loved some aiming assist, but while still playing at normal difficulty. The game was splendid, but the shooting was a bit lacklustre (and I already suck at shooting games in general... even more so in that case).

Weird. Never had a problem on my side. Updated to 1.04 over the weekend, and never had a problem with the game either before or after that update.

I’m liking it quite a bit! It really builds on the strengths of the 2013 game, while adding more content, bigger areas to explore, more ways to play, etc. :)

Finished the story of Rise of the Tomb Raider last night, and probably going to spend the weekend getting all the collectibles, finishing side-missions, etc.

This is the video game developer equivalent of you parents saying your dog just went to a happy farm for a long nice vacation.

Touchscreen doesn’t really make sense for the games themselves, as the touchscreen features wouldn’t be usable if you’re playing on your TV, with the console docked.

If all else fails, summon Tidus.

Back when I was in university, my local game shop didn’t really care if you had pre-ordered or not. They would give the little voucher with the download code for pre-order content to pretty much anyone coming to buy the game on launch day (or until they ran out of them). I never really cared about that content that

Brotherhood and Black Flag are probably my two favourites in the series. Though I would tend to say Brotherhood is the best Assassin’s Creed (double emphasis), because, as good as Black Flag is as a game, it’s probably the one in the main series that feels the less like an Assassin’s Creed game, and more like a

Now playing

I used to play the hell out of the SNES version as a kid. I had never seen the Genesis one, didn’t know they were completely different games!

Ahah, I’m more or less in the same boat (but no 5 year-old involved). I recently starting re-watching the series on Netflix. And man has this series not aged well at all. But my nostalgia is stronger, I’m still a sucker for all things MMPR.

Could be fun... but it also kinda look like a web browser Flash game... I’ll keep my eyes open for this one, but I’m not getting my hopes up.

Exactly. The stigma and taboo surrounding mental health issues need to die. So many people don’t seek help for their problems because they’re afraid to be judged or ostracized.
