Why does your Uncharted image look like you took a photo with a blackberry, printed it, scanned it, printed it again, faxed to a friend and then uploaded?

I often wonder about this...when there’s a post that consists of 90% tweets in Japanese...who does that benefit? Is there a sizable portion of Kotaku users that I’m unaware of who can read Japanese, or is it just an exercise in self-flagellation for our weeaboo overlords?
