50k for the Bison is a crewcab, so apples to apples you’re not getting one for close to 50k....plus markup.

You’re not getting a new Raptor near 50k....try adding another 15k.

It’s so people who can’t afford it can finance the crap out of it and pay double what the “mods” are worth.

That was the interview I’m referring to.  There are two things that aren’t made in house.  I’m too lazy/busy to watch it.

I remember an interview with him and I swore he said those were the two things they didn’t make, maybe it’s the rotors.   I don’t see them investing into a machine that can CNC carbon ceramic or however they are fabricated.

I like this over a Pagani because they actually make their own stuff, everything except the brake calipers and tires.

He made money documenting the build of said Mustang, got sponsors to do the work and give parts, now is selling it and getting a tax deduction.  I would say he didn’t spend a dime.

His “company” bought the car and it’s a charitable donation. He’s coming out way ahead. Your alternatives are dumb. I never said it was disingenuous to donate the “proceeds” to charity.  I’m saying it’s a toot your own horn kind of thing to do when a dime isn’t coming out of his pocket.
