Oh, without a doubt.

That moment in the Bus Stop definitely cost him a tenth or two as well.

~205mph.

You knew what I meant. ;)

Very nice, I'm only 24 but I take time to learn about this history of anything I like, and thanks to YouTube, there's plenty of races from the GTP era(best ever, imo) to keep myself occupied during the offseason haha.

I'd say about 220-230, but yeah they'd be cookin' some serious dick down into T1.

I agree!

WEC P2's were quicker by about 2sec a lap, just due to the more grip they get from the Michelin's.

These pictures are from 1984.

Chicane appeared in 1984(I can only say this from fact because I watched the '83 race a few days ago and there wasn't one present there, haha.)

CoTA was down to the tires. Daytona doesn't have enough sections to warrant high mechanical grip like CoTA would, so you wouldn't make up those times there.

DP's are only around one more year after this, then it's going to be basically whatever the global P2 car becomes. Possibly with manufacture specific bodywork for IMSA races if the manufactures(Chevrolet) please. It wouldn't be mandatory though.

WEC-spec P2 cars are actually slower in a straight line than IMSA spec P2's.

"Too Loud."

Pfffft, let the P1 cars be the fastest, tech laden machines that are so expensive that only the factories can run them effectively.

Cost capped, no in season development, stock-block engines.

I work for a Mitsubishi dealer.

WTCC is garbage.

They tear up tracks like you wouldn't believe.
