How do you get out of your car?
OMG this pisses me off! These people have zero consideration for others. I would love to see big signs at the pumps reminding people they aren’t the only ones that might need to fill up today.
As A. Barth pointed out, there are a number of details missing or incorrect. But, those can be pretty easily fixed. NP for a good start.
Trying to understand why this is bad for you. You get 10 years to enjoy them, then resell across the border for more than you paid to move on the the next thing we can’t have yet. We’re jealous of you!
I had one of these as a weekend rental back in ‘91 or so. I wanted a vert for a vacation, and couldn’t find a Mustang. I’ll say that it was memorable for being a total piece of crap. It handled so poorly - the front tires were complaining at even the hint of a curve. It rattled terribly - and only had a few…
Keeping it really simple: I want a similarly equipped Model 3 (or something like it) for the price of an Accord, and for nearly everyone to have a fast charger at their home. For 95% of the driving I do, the Model 3 has enough range. For most of what’s left, I can sort it through the charging network. However, the…
No AWD, but as others have posted, the AWD on the Element isn’t that great. With good tires, the Ody has taken me through some serious snow without issue. Yes, they are larger. Not sure about the ground clearance. But, it’s not like the Element is much of an off-roader.
Yeah, they have that rep. Either I have been fortunate, or sticking to regular maintenance helps. I’m at 190k on the original. Torque converter was replaced around 40k under recall, even though there was nothing wrong with mine. I dump the fluid and refill every 10k. Knocking on wood...
I think that’s the case. I have a 2008 Odyssey EXL with a few more miles that book values for less. 10 years on, the Ody still has more power, rides better, hauls ALOT more, and gets about the same MPG.
I like these. I prefer the later years that have finished paint work, but to each their own. They are funky, super versatile, and will last a very long time. However, the owner is about $2k too proud of this one.
I want to see David resist this project:
This is one of those things that sounds good, but really isn’t. I have owned two manual Camry’s. The first was an ‘89, which, aside from the stupid motorized seatbelts, was a fantastic car. If it didn’t rust to nothing (I lived in Vt at the time), it would likely still be going. Great car.
Ordered.
Did we know each other back then?
Love it! I remember having the D Type and Porsche, but my 911 was silver. I had some others, but those bring back memories.
It started with the Countach. Had the poster for years. Then I started to learn a bit about engineering, and was attracted to Porsche. The 959 became my favorite for a long time. I guess they both are still cool.....
The entire metro area was a cluster yesterday, not just the GW. I work just outside the city, and my 45 mile commute usually takes 1:15 or so. Yesterday - nearly 7 hours. Highways in NJ were so icy that NJ Transit busses and semi’s were getting stuck on the smallest hills. I agree that winter tires are best, but…
