Free Solo was a movie that made my palms sweat.

When I go to my grave recounting the proudest moments of my life, one of them will be setting that up for you.

I don’t really know why, but I’m just delighted that Tim Robbins decided the interview wasn’t ENOUGH of a retrospective, so he brings up more movies.

TIL Mark Jackson has a burner

The other day while I was embarrassing myself at the gym, on a different empty court there was a kid, maybe twelve or thirteen, who spent an entire hour hoisting and clanking (if he was lucky) thirty-five footers with a jerky imitation of Steph’s shooting motion.

I don’t care how many shots he hits or total points he scores- watching James Harden play basketball just sucks.

I’m a lifelong Knicks fan so take my basketball knowledge and taste with whatever grain you choose but I personally feel that Steph Curry is the most entertaining player in the league to watch while James Harden is without a doubt the least. The Warriors will be better then people think this season for the very

Too bad the rest of the footage from that game is an illegal snuff film

yah, sometimes it’s just nice being back with the gang.

Fuck your videos. Write a fucking article.

Ugh come on. Print the goddamn thing.

Not to be greedy, but Lodge 49 needs 4 seasons Fire, Water, earth, and Air. Maybe 5 if they can manage it, the quintessence, but that’s optional.

Tell AMC you want more Lodge 49 https://www.amc.com/contact-us Tell your friends, get them to watch on demand, it’s on Hulu, Amazon Prime, iTunes, the AMC deluxe app. Find it, watch it again yourself. The world needs this show and the joy it brings.

This is the show we need right now. I’m so sick of shows, of entertainment that trades on themes of woes and destruction. I’m sick of killing and drug use and graphic sex. I’m sick of apocalyptic notions and existential dread. I’m sick of muted color palettes and gray skies and deep shadows. I’m sick of heroes and

To echo the sentiments of another commenter, I didn’t NEED to know Jesse’s fate, but I’m glad the Breaking Bad creators/cast gave it to me. I thought the movie was incredibly entertaining and well-paced, the two hours flew by, and in the end I felt like I’d watched a regular—if extended—Breaking Bad episode.

Is it renewed for season 3 yet? They have to renew it for season 3, right?

Yes, this. If El Camino had come out on the heels of the show, it would have been fine to kill Jesse or put him in jail. But you can’t come back after six years just to hate fuck your audience. That’s both insane and unacceptable.

I think some will say that it would be more in keeping with the tone of the show for him to end up in jail, but I for one needed a bit of hope and liked how it ended.

I also loved Jesse in that scene. “I’m 96% sure you’re the guy!” And then his face when the cops show up.

I’ve said this before but yeah - I didn’t THINK I needed to know Jesse’s fate, I was pretty sure he came out of it okay.
