If $50k is waived, it will incentivize colleges to jack up their already insane tuition bills more because the next group that amasses these loans will be bailed out again-on what are loans guaranteed by the federal government in the first place. That is nonsense. capitalism exists based on the premise of perfect markets were buyers and sellers are with perfect knowledge able to determine the value of goods. If a truck is worth $140,000.00-which it is because people will buy it, then that is what it should cost.
