Are jailbroken Teslas going to become a thing?
It’s unfortunate the rider got seriously injured, but I really fail to see what the cop should have done differently except perhaps block the path a little sooner. On the flip side the rider could have:
You watch the tape and that self-centered jackass is really booking down the path. If he struck a pedestrian from behind at that speed, that person would be at least as injured as jackass ended up but he wouldn’t be scathed much due to the ATV taking most of the impact.
This is exactly what should have been done. The risk of harm was transferred from the pedestrians to the one doing the harm - the rider. I don’t like to see anyone hurt but...FAFO.
Two parties in the wrong you say?

The median individual salary in the US in 2022 (the latest I can find) was $40,500. Yet the median price of a (new) car in 2022 was $48,500. Isn’t this “Bah Gawd, the car is more than yearly income!” sitchy happening pretty much.....everywhere....for most folks?

Yep. For Christmas a couple years back I got a bulk pack of the specific kind of fuzzy catnip balls that my cat likes best. 95% of those balls are now hiding under my fridge, stove, and couch, but it was such a fun Christmas morning dumping the balls all over her and watching her go into a frenzy trying to chase…
Great article, thank you. Sometimes it’s refreshing to see a heartwarming story, especially with all the other BS going on right now. I don’t think I can stomach any more Elon today (week? month? year? lifetime???), but this I took the time to read.
Where did I praise Elon?
