Stereolab is one of the most important bands of the ‘90s, no doubt about it. And the photo captures one of my favorite ‘lab line-ups. I still feel warm fuzzies of sadness whenever I see a picture of Mary. Love that this final singles collection is getting some attention around here.

That and serenading Obama with "To sir, with love" were both absolutely mortifying.

Gotta be Eggers. His highs are higher (Lighthouse is basically perfect) and his lows aren’t as low.

I vote Eggers. He makes the kind of films nobody else would make if he didn’t exist.

All the Nesmith stuff is also rock solid gold. Holds up.
