Try shooting two fire arrows at a Glinthawk (enough to catch them on fire) and then wait. They freak out and die pretty quickly. :)

I’m so glad I backed Shantae: Half-Genie Hero! I actually backed Mighty No. 9 and this game around the same time -- but only Shantae turned out to be a true delight.

Heroic strikes work, but you can also choose any of the 320 strikes from the map. The blue engrams will only decrypt to 340 -- but the blues you get as rewards for completing the strikes go up to 365. I repeatedly did the Sepiks Prime strike till 350, then did Heroic Strikes.

TIL my copy of Tron Bonne is surprisingly valuable! Maybe I should frame it with the other Legends games... I mean, I DO love that series.
