I've apparently been doing something wrong. I use a braid and a piece of cardboard...

My bet is on loneliness.

I sort of detached myself from this case so I probably missed some important details. Why is it a big deal that there was undercover cop involved? I've met 2 (retired) undercover cops in my life and none were technically cops, they were more or less hired to be an undercover agent. Was this guy some upstanding citizen

I'm trying to imagine a head hitting the inside of a balloon helmet at high speeds. I find it hard to grasp that your head won't simply compress the air and you'll still make solid contact with the ground/car. I guess that's what the engineering was for ;).

I think before the internet you required a publisher and print to get opinions and thoughts out to the public. We've essentially removed that filter. The best part isn't reading what idiots write, it's reading what the idiots on the other side believe.

A voice for the idiots.

Just in case anyone is interested... Either a developer or composer (I forget) started a thread somewhere and by request he will email you the "chirps" for free that you can use on your PC/Phone/etc. The music and sounds really did it for me so I bought both the album and got those chirps as my ring/notification tones.

As all of these require you to do something some would rather not do I would opt for.

Throw it over the fence and let your neighbor deal with it.

Why are concept vehicles drawings always 100 years ahead of their time? I recall (I work for Nissan) when the Titan concepts came out years and years ago. It looked like a damn spaceship, now it's tame and putting consumers asleep. They drew up more silly concepts in the last year and now the new model looks on par

Good catch. I hit 222 for simplicity's sake so it is in fact 2min 22 seconds.

Haha! In sharing my recipe(if you can call it that) I have also shared my secret alchemy recipe for a musical instrument.

I used a speedy recipe for an egg sandwich to get me through highschool and college.

Any 3rd world tropical island that thrives on tourism will provide an absolutely surreal airport experience. My wife and I flew to St.Lucia for our honeymoon. The airport is 95º, but you forget about that when you get out of customs... The back side of the airport is a clusterfuck of welded together makeshift taxis,

From a management perspective, from what I've learned, I think it's good to (while remaining brief) to spend 20% of your convo identifying the weakness/mistake, and the other 80% coaching or relating your own experience. The quicker you turn the focus from the mistake, the faster they'll forget about it. Obviously,

I think games are where most people draw the line. It's hard to pay $5+ for a game, even a great one, if you can only play it on a cell-phone screen. The apps I've paid $10+ for usually have desktop/web capabilities as well i.e. Dashlane or Splashtop.

There was a time when I was broke and would try to download

Curious if the general shape of it in "drive mode" still creates lift that would make the back end an absolute disaster in the right(wrong) conditions.

The time required to write out a complaint about the video orientation is >= the time it will take you to forget about this video anyways. You guys crack me up.

lmao, DAMMIT! Every year when my live subscription falls off I hunt for 3 weeks for a price drop and I always seem to start looking 1 week too late. My friends eagerly pester me so I buy it at full price... and what happens? Sorry, had to rant.

I think that's a tiny portion of botters and surely they get bored after a week of that. The rest are simply making money. I play Chivalry, LoL, Total War, DayZ and enjoy them all with my friends, but I bought 2 copies of Diablo 3 to make money and I did just that. I botted on both accounts and netted ~$400 and

While I find it a stretch to ask customers for money, I have to disagree with your idea of botters. A wall-hacker in a FPS game is lazy. A botter in an MMO is simply someone looking for profit. I was a part of quite a few botting communities years ago and it was a general consensus that it wasn't "if", but "when"
