People bitch about the plastic fender extension. Subaru “don’t worry it looks fine”. Then shows black car to completely hide the terrible plastic junk attached to the car.

Whoa! Invoking Hulk Hogan? That’s pretty ballsy for a website that used to be associated with Gawker.

Knock off the 10 grand and it would be a NP.

Did they say that was the ONLY thing they were doing? Voting is probably the most powerful thing we can all do, hands down.

I was about to say - have been voting for Green/NDP/Liberal in Canada for the past 20 years; anyone but Conservative (Canadian version of Republicans) who just this year just refused to acknowledge that climate change is even real...

I have but one star to give.

Ha!

wow!! thank you so much and thank you for reading! It is truly my pleasure!

This is the best article I’ve read on Jalopnik in a long time. Felt like I was reading a Car and Driver editorial. Thanks for the read, Victoria.

It really depends on how you define better. I can’t talk to all old cars so I will talk about what I know. I drive an 80 series Land Cruiser, which many feel is the peak of old school and new school and one of the best products Toyota ever made.

Totally get that. Tacos are pretty light in the rear and don’t always have an LSD. A 1/2 ton crew cab, short bed(most common truck) is probably the best weight balance as it is closest to an SUV. I am by no means saying a subaru or my alltrack is bad in the snow, but I find the grip in the truck better. I tend to

Me too. I actually don’t find it stressful like a lot of people. Growing up we always looked forward to snow days because we usually drove to the ski mountain. Still do that today. Driving in the storm is just what you do

I’m not sure if I 100% agree with the pickup-in-the-snow comment. Yes, the weight balance is not as good, but I currently have a pickup and an alltrack, both of which run snow tires. I find the truck to be better in the snow because of weight. The rear has a limited slip to deal with any traction loss but the truck

Would I buy this dinosaur of a sports car new? Over a 911? Yeah, I would take a very serious look at this. I still absolutely love these and this is the easiest way to buy one without having to hope that it wasn’t tuned to within an inch of it’s life, raced, or rolled over at some point.

honest question: who actually GAF that it has not been updated since 2007?

is it a good car? yes.
are we lucky it hasn’t been discontinued? yes

why are you so hot to shit on nissan for making a good car and leaving it the fuck alone?

What’s even competition for it? I don’t really think there’s many (or any?) things that have comparable performance for anywhere near the price. Remember, this is the car that literally cornered so hard that it forced Jeremy Clarkson to leave the track in an ambulance from hurting his neck.

au contraire

It’s a good question.

Id like to know why anyone buys a GLI over the far more versatile GTI...

All kidding aside, I love that they still make this.

Global warming doesn’t give a crap if your EV was made by a union, made within U.S. borders, made with a gazillion kWh battery, sold by a dealership, or boosted by a Bond villain. We should apply incentives to increase EV adoption across the board, vehicles and infrastructure. We should prioritize mass market (aka
