Need more stars here.
I own a (4 seater!) convertible with a manual. That thing is a blast on mountain roads. You don’t have to cruise slowly in a convertible.
Don’t do much towing, do you?
I have a question I need answered - Why when I click on my notifications on Kinja does it NOT bring my comment and replies to the top anymore, its just a needle in a haystack now.? .....Autos can be ok in heavier cars.
Anything that I am involved in stop/start traffic or urban areas.
Tow rig.
Commuter cars, and shockingly, trucks. What’s the point of a (non mini-truck) with a manual? When was the last time you could even get one? Like an 02 Chevy 1500 single cab?
Anything I’m commuting in.
I don’t get this negative take.
An electric X3 seems… good? People like the X3, making it an EV seems like a layup.
Alternate take:
I own a 2015 Pro4x and believe me it definitely offroads. It doesnt do performative dumb ass rock crawling for rock crawling sake but for actually getting to the backcountry trailheads that require 4x4 it handles all of that quite competently.
I love my 2002 Frontier. It’s not a looker but it gets the job done so far.
They required proof of vaccination at Lollapalooza.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Friends don’t let friends by VAG products from this time frame. Having owned a 2001 GTI VR6 with it’s stellar 2 year, 24,000 warranty, I can tell you after those two years, the car was traded in as fast as I could. No, it never left me stranded but it did bug the piss out of…
In order for it to be Murica, it would have to be an F-150, a fat white dude with oakleys+hat+tanktop+farmer tan combo, and the donuts would be in a Dollar General strip mall hellscape parking lot.
The secret sauce to the crosstrek is a trifecta of affordability, versatility and capability.
Can’t be good for the river either.
