Fully agree on the WRX especically no hatch option. But I really like the MKVII GTIs, they look good and drive great
I’m still on the page that if that car had a nice turbo four and a stick or a good dsg tranny, it’d be a sweet car. Looks like a little rally car, drives like an old beetle
Minivan drivers are constantly telling me the plywood thing. Never have I ever had to buy a sheet of plywood and get it home myself
Teenage me would wreck it in a week... adult me, 2 weeks
Well, except fro some build quality issues they generally are. Subjectively I hate them tho, styling, menu option and access, giant touchscreen, those door handles
This. I am looking for a used eGolf, I can live with the range but more is better and if it was a little more performance centered like the Mini SE it’d be the prefect littel EV for me
NP?! Do any of you people even read this site? smdh
Right?! I’m astounded at the NP over the ND. Does anyone here even read the site?
I think it’s the only hole in their lineup, a smallish car that actually has a bit of power and utility. I ended up with a cx-30 turbo because Subaru gave up on buyers like me
Hey Jalopnik if you read through the comments you can make a second slideshow of the Best Cars NOT to have sex in
So far I saw Pontiac Fiero, Hyundai Accent (although if you can get anyone to have sex owning such a car go for it), and Any car
oof I didn’t see that fee
Sounds like something I would be interested in, but $900 for a month hmmm
Please just drop the turbo motor in this. It’s the perfect car for me but I need a bit of power for fun and mountains. Or make a WRX hatch! I’d take either
Yeah I had the old Crosstrek Hybrid, it wasn’t that great as a hybrid but it was a start. The plug in eats up too much trunk space for me, and also the ICE and electric motors don’t make additive power, still somehow only the +/- 150hp
Remember that it’s only a credit, if you don’t owe taxes and/or expect a refund, you get nothing
oh boy, hmm
Well, I had the standard drive across the midwest in a blizzard where I was making fresh tracks on the highway and could only tell the sides of the road from those little reflective sticks
In Cambodia, late 90s, riding a scooter around Pnomh Penh was fun. Sometimes the only way to go in traffic is to ride…
To me it’s like having a modern day Lancia Delta Intergrale. Looks great and wedgy, plenty fast, unobtrusive AWD system. I’ve taken it down dirt roads in southern Utah (Hole in the rock road) up to 80mph no problem, and it’s been a delight here this winter
The Kona N would be the hotter hatch with the DCT but it’s only…
It’s quick. I wouldn’t say it’s fast, but it gets up and goes. The turbo and acceleration are very smooth, not a rocket ship but gets to 60 in 6 seconds. Handles great like a Mazda, very nice interior, I love the size. I think of it as more of a lifted hatch than a small suv
