I might be the world’s biggest Tesla Fanboy, but I can see the main impracticality would be its range - I’m guessing that at around 300 miles, it has a shorter range than other police cruisers, and also the required recharge is at least 20 minutes at a supercharger, as opposed to a quick 5 minute gas-up at any gas…
