You’re right - collateral damage isn't fair. There is more than one officer guilty in this specific instance. There are others who knew of the problem and did nothing about it, thus implicitly condoning (in my opinion). That group is who needs to be penalized.

I use Fi - it works well, not perfect - Its my secondary phone so I don’t use it as much. My primary is a TMobile and there are places where my main phone has great signal and the Fi phone struggles and I don’t really get that.

Slightly related: I did some work for a couple of years for someone who is remarkably famous, and one day my client’s publicist called to decline an appearance on Celebrity Apprentice and my naive self was like “Thats a hot show - why not go on it?”

I’m trying to get myself positioned to buy a Model S. I’m hearing mixed reviews about the upgraded suspension. Well, everyone says its awesome, but its a complex part and could (and does) break, resulting in an expensive repair. Is it worth getting or just get the standard?

I would consider getting all the victims into some kind of witness protection program. I would hate to see the other cops wanting to send a message to prevent “this sort of thing” from happening again do something to them.

Fuck that guy. He wasn’t crying when he was abusing his power and raping women, ruining their lives. Rape is a horrific violent crime, right up there with murder in my opinion and he deserves every year he got, and every rape he’ll get in jail.

Doesn’t guarantee results. We have a black president and that hasn’t changed the inherent racist acts that are being carried out by some members of the police force for example. And you don’t have to be a black mayor to care about your fellow human beings - I’m sure there are plenty of non blacks who can do the job…
