I am obsessed with Tesla - I’m hoping a Model S will be my next car, if everything works out. I do want to point out that having driven both a 7 series and test driven a Model S, the Tesla is nowhere near a 7 series in terms of luxury.

I have a Logitech Performance MX and I love it. One of the best things about it is while you can use rechargeable batteries and charge it with the cord, I just use regular AAs and when they die I switch them and keep on trucking.

aargh - seriously? I’m still in the greys? I was a starred commenter before Kinja!! And ungreyed on a few other gawker sites now.

I think the problem is the embedding - I couldn’t make them play on this page either but I found the links:

Come on, son.

I read an article, I think it was on here where they called them Nerd Movers. I laughed SO hard.

They remind me of the residents of my old apartment complex who would wait until they pulled up at the gate (of course right in front of me) to start digging in their purse for the gate card. Great. This didn’t just spring up all of a sudden. You’ve needed it every single time you’ve come back home. </rant>

While I understand WHY you did it? (the Facebook post) I hope you realize you shouldn’t have. Not only did it get you canned (yay for you), it could mess with your chances of being employed elsewhere in the future. Good luck! And I hope it doesn’t.

RAW s definitely supported and I’m pretty sure it saves the same resolution you upload - I am not aware of any compression. I’ll double check though.

Awesome, thank you. I think I would know though - if someone was a pro from their storage needs. I add an average of 5000 RAW files a week. That can’t be regular consumer behavior.

I have the free photo storage that comes with Prime but it comes with the fine print that its not for professional photographers (me). I wonder if this “version” will apply to me?

Brilliant, thank you!

I think I want one - I pretty much figured out what I want to do - I want to set up a little alarm on my library door - I have a pretty major book collection (in my mind at least!) and I want to be notified if anyone takes any books out of there - I’m willing to RFID each book. Suggestions welcome.

lol at your use of “looked the other way” - love it. I had a boss when I was younger who was so cool - one day I walked into her office and said “I’m going to be sick on October 17th” - she was like “what? how do you. oh.” lol.

Not cool. If he had taken them home, they would have had no problem.

I can’t play any instruments, and I’m not musical at all, but I’m going to learn, so I can start a band and name it Illuminati Kale. Album coming soon.

Interesting idea, but it won’t work for me (and I suspect many people) because I drink a lot when on the road, at restaurants, meetings etc. You really think every drink I take will be out of this contraption? Showing up at a restaurant and transferring my drink into this? Nope.

I’m a bit of an extremist, but whenever I share a meal with someone who fiddles with their phone the whole time, its the last time I share a meal with that person. Of course there are exceptions, but thats my rule of thumb.

I think it would be spectacularly interesting if there was a system where married couples had to renew their marriage license say every year or two. I wonder how many people would properly re-evaluate their relationship and just not renew?

Thank you!
