I think I want one - I pretty much figured out what I want to do - I want to set up a little alarm on my library door - I have a pretty major book collection (in my mind at least!) and I want to be notified if anyone takes any books out of there - I’m willing to RFID each book. Suggestions welcome.

lol at your use of “looked the other way” - love it. I had a boss when I was younger who was so cool - one day I walked into her office and said “I’m going to be sick on October 17th” - she was like “what? how do you. oh.” lol.

Not cool. If he had taken them home, they would have had no problem.

I can’t play any instruments, and I’m not musical at all, but I’m going to learn, so I can start a band and name it Illuminati Kale. Album coming soon.

I’m a bit of an extremist, but whenever I share a meal with someone who fiddles with their phone the whole time, its the last time I share a meal with that person. Of course there are exceptions, but thats my rule of thumb.

I think it would be spectacularly interesting if there was a system where married couples had to renew their marriage license say every year or two. I wonder how many people would properly re-evaluate their relationship and just not renew?

Thank you!

Thank you so much! I had no idea. I also thought I would never get a response, what with living in the greys forever. I’m not gray over on Gizmodo - I wish they would just make it across the whole Gawker network. Thanks again!

What does this mean?

A few years ago, my daughter and I went to Whole Foods pretty late and we picked up some sushi. We had paid and made it outside when she realized we had forgotten chopsticks and she wanted to run in and grab them, but by herself (she was 8 at the time). I knew the only other exit was already closed so if I stood at

My sister and her husband have the same situation with both their jobs, and while it stinks in the beginning, they spend so much on their personal credit cards on behalf of the company (which reimburses them very promptly), that they qualified for AMEX Centurion cards which have been very useful to them. Longest

Growing up we had an average of 7 cars at any one time. 2 of them were VW bugs - one of them the old model and the other the really old model. We all learned to drive in one or the other and that was our starter beater. I even knew how to change a fan belt on the fly. They were such hardy and inexpensive little cars.

Amazing answer, love people who know their stuff. Kudos!

Where are you getting the information that Simple isn’t profitable?

Banks charge fees because they are greedy (and in most cases they have major overhead). I bank with Simple, and there are no fees for anything. They make their money on the bank interchange fees that occur when you use your card to make purchases and pay bills. In fairness to traditional banks, Simple doesn’t have

I certainly don’t believe the insect story at all. If anything, that was perfect aim. Couple that with his comments right after “I don’t care” and “he was doing something illegal” - good luck in court, buddy.

Sorta like how wearing a hoodie and being black equates to homicide.

a} Some drones are very, very fast (but only for a few minutes before they need a battery change)

A girl I date wasn’t a great kisser until we were on the verge of Doing It and then she became the perfect, not too much not too little anything kisser. I guess it only kicked in when she was into it.

Flipping a table and walking out of the building with both middle fingers held high not an option?
