I’m not optimistic about it being funded (due to the horrible track record of funding for rural education initiatives), but proud to have written a cohesive, research-based proposal in such a short timeline. Neil is the best — recently an idiot manbaby from S. Idaho posted a rant about how he thought Dr. Tyson was a “horse’s astronomer” (ugh) with a list of unfounded/made up reasons, to which Neil graciously and devastatingly responded by putting said manbaby in his place.

I feel you on this — my grandmother passed today and while we weren’t close, I want to support my father but not have to deal with the crazy/racist rest of the family. I hope you are able to spend some time with your grandfather with minimal extraneous toxicity; family dynamics can be tough.

Everyone else has covered most of it, but I will add that I can wear white shorts during my period using the cup (something I would have NEVER considered when I still used tampons). A good fitting cup is pretty magical tbh, also highly recommend soaking in diluted hydrogen peroxide monthly to eliminate discoloration…

Same here and I’ve had circles since I was little (sometimes called “tear troughs,” just really thin skin that is always dark). If you can find it, SALMON-colored concealer is amazing and has enough orangey tones to correct most blue/purple circles. I buy a brand called “Bren” on Amazon and its $12 for a small pot…

I was in a similar situation a few years back but no kids. I’m going as Sally Jesse Raphael but still need to find the right wig — I may actually purchase a “Donald Trump” style wig which is about the closest costume wig I can find, oh the shame to make that purchase though.

These herb-infusion cocktails are awesome! I have a friend who thinks everything is “too spicy” (peppercorns included) but maybe she will reconsider if there is booze involved!
