I am so sick of her not being exactly what everyone wants her to be all the time. It’s like she isn’t even trying to take all of our criticism simultaneously. I liked her at first but then she was too likeable and now I hate her but she just keeps being Jennifer Lawrence and I am just like HELLO, HAVE YOU SEEN OUR

is she counting English?

“also attended, graduated from architecture degree, bachelor degree.”

What does it mean to “surrender” a law license. I've never heard that before.

It’s fine to feel sorry for her. I think she’s just your average social climber, and she never expected to be in the national spotlight like this where people are paid money to actually check the things you say.

One thing’s sure, whoever her legal representation was is probably going to get sued by Trump.

You know what? If we were making fun of her for being stupid or for posing naked in the past or any of that, yeah, I’d be uncomfortable with it. But I don’t actually see a lot of that around here.

Melania would love to show everyone her diploma, but she’s currently being audited.

Does “Caviar Complexe C6” mean “1,000 units of Botox every 3 months” in Slovenian? Not hating on plastic surgery/Botox- I truly don’t care what other people do with their bodies- but it’s straight up offensive when celebrities hawk products to promote results that they themselves CLEARLY got in a doctor’s office. We

Lock her up! Lock her up!

Um. Ok? I guess we’re pieces of shit because we both have student loans. That’s why we both need to work FT. Like TF kind of entitled response is that? Happy that your privileged existence is unhindered.

This is another one of my biggest complaints. Either a job is entry-level with no experience or it requires experience but it’s not both.

Unpaid internships are a major method for reproducing income inequality in the US currently. They make entire industries essentially inaccessible to people who don’t already come from at least the upper-middle class. People who have parents wealthy enough to support them almost 100%, while they’re indentured servants

Being able to live with your parents as an adult, rent free, is also a privilege. I grew up lower class/impoverished, and all my friends (and I) had to either get our own place or start paying substantial rent to our parents/guardians as soon as we turned 18 or graduated high school, whichever came first.

1-2 years for even entry level positions. I’ve always wondered how people were supposed to get experience if no one hired anyone without experience...

What these types of “how to get by as unpaid intern” articles never cover is the expense that comes with existing beyond basic necessities, which is something that you HAVE to do as an adult. Like great, you have six roommates, your social events are potlucks, and you upsource goodwill clothing, so you are housed, fed

A lot of people don’t seem to realize that unpaid internships (especially in high cost of living major cities) further exacerbate our already deep class divisions. I never could have taken an unpaid internship, my mom needed the half of my paycheck that I gave her to keep the bills paid...the only people who can

Alternatively, D-E-S-P-E-R-A-T-E. The job market is bleak:(

I managed an unpaid internship while living in Brooklyn. It was hellish. I shared an (illegal) rental with three people (one of whom was likely insane) and had over a mile walk to the nearest train station. I worked two part time jobs and used my school loan to pay for existing and my average night’s sleep was around

Yes, agreed. But I would go further to argue that who is performing audits or looking into the unpaid internships? I made a similar comment just now because I just don’t get how people can do this. I recognize that many are forced into it for professional experience. In fact, many career coaches and temp agencies will

Shouldn’t one internship be enough? How much free labor are we allowing companies to squeeze out of kids? Dickens would shit himself over this.
