Ulta didn’t give me a birthday $15. But I was totally surprised I got a killer sample size of Urban Decay Perversion mascara. I am so much loving it.

I’ve only had one legit bad experience at Sephora (and since the nearest Sephora is more than an hour away, I hit them whenever I go to a larger city), but plenty of ignored at Ulta. IMHO, they’re just not into it like Sephora people are.

Coconut oil makes hairs grow weird. Honest. I tried some on my right brow only (scientific method), to see if I could tell any difference. Some hairs grew in quickly but more like pubes. Horrors! Naturally I stopped right away. Now only use coconut oil for lip balm. No hairs there yet.

Oh! You use Givenchy?! Tell more! I don’t wear eyeshadow anymore because slightly crepe-y eyelids now. I saw a model wearing Givenchy eyeshadow and wanted that nearly nude transparent-glimmer look so bad.

I’m really happy with my first Birchbox. September had a moisturizing mask, a nice Rusk aerosol of heat protectant, Anastasia brown pencil (not has good as gel), a facial cleanser, and a concealer stick. Pretty box good for a special little giftwrap thingy. Pretty good haul!
