Not sure if this has been mentioned previously (tl;dr), but #5 reminds me so much of Bob Fosse’s performance in “The Little Prince” that I have a hard time thinking that it’s not an homage of some sort:

I met her at Dragon*con. She was also the Grand Marshall of the parade.

Just like The Space Giants, sometimes I feel like I was the only person in the world to have seen this movie.

There was a woman in the neighborhood I grew up in that looked just like this dude. Sweetest woman ever...but my mom and I still called her “ Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.” I still don’t know her name.

I’ve never read any of your novels. What do you suggest I start with? I have Seveneves. Is there something else I should be familiar with before reading it?

Between Star Trek, In Search Of..., and Standby: Lights, Camera, Action, Leonard Nimoy was a huge part of my childhood. For some reason, I thought he'd always be there (even after the death of my own parents). I was wrong and I am sad.

And "motivational speaker," yes.

Yep. It's a form of gigantism. Tony Robbins and Antonio "Bigfoot" Silva have also been diagnosed with it.

"Look at the birds...up in the trees...."

Looks like something these folks could have used:
