It’s actually the opposite. A cis person is someone whose gender identity matches the gender they were assigned at birth and the gender they’re perceived as. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cisgender
This article was super interesting and well-explained, and I very much appreciate that you specified cis men and cis women, because it would have been inaccurate to just say men and women, and because it’s so frustrating to see gender-related articles and media just plain act like trans and non-binary people don’t…
Some people, for example some folks with executive dysfunction, have trouble initiating tasks, even ones they want to do. One solution that works for some people is being told to do the task, even if it’s just a computer telling you to do it. If you don’t need this, you’re very fortunate!
I’ve used this flowchart for years, but at its original location.(http://philome.la/jace_harr/you-feel-like-shit-an-interactive-self-care-guide/play) I struggle with executive dysfunction and with failing to pick up on body signals, so it’s very helpful for reminding me about things I otherwise miss, like whether I’m…
This is very helpful as the lettuce in my fridge (some of which I’ve already eaten) is from Fresh Express! Thanks!
I thought you were going to say: because parties are group events where you don’t know everyone and someone will be allergic to the flowers. However I’d love to receive them if no one is allergic. I feel like if I’m frantically rushing around so much I don’t have time to receive a gift, I’m doing parties wrong. Why…
If you lose your phone, it’s fine, it has tracking built right into it. Just check on another device where it is and go get it. If you lose your wallet you’re kind of screwed. If they’re combined, you have a way to track where your wallet is.
That was so cool! I love stuff about building machines at home, taking things apart to see how they work, combining parts to make awesome Frankenmachines... I’m going to subscribe to this youtube channel for sure. Thanks for sharing this! :D
Thank you! I had a no idea! :)
I had no idea Spotify could do this, I usually use the iOS app, thanks! I’ll have to do some fiddling as I don’t want to just import everything (lots of audio notes, song ideas, etc) but I imagine that would be the case with SongShift as well. Thanks for the info! :)
I don’t have an Apple Music subscription, but I do have Spotify, and I sometimes buy MP3s on iTunes. Can SongShift on iOS be used to get songs I’ve purchased on iTunes onto a Spotify playlist?
One thing that’s great about ordering delivery is that they don’t know who you’re ordering for lol. One time as a special treat I ordered a McDonald’s happy meal via UberEats and it came with a toy, a yogurt tube, sliced apples, and a juice box, and it was DELIGHTFUL :D
Oh this is a good idea! I will give it a go and see what the pattern is :)
This is a great tip! I’ll definitely try to remember it!
Hee this is awesome! Very nostalgic :) Nice work!
Oh thanks for this info! I’m never sure which foods are allowed and which aren’t but I’ll keep this in mind! :)
If you’re flying from Canada to the US with a layover, depending on your destination, sometimes you can plan to do most of your flying in Canada so you can bring snacks from home to eat through most of the trip. That way customs comes as late as possible and you don’t have to buy expensive airport snacks.
Oh dear, you seem to be making a lot of assumptions about me based on the silly little song I made in a few minutes for fun. I thought the discordant notes sounded more interesting, but here, I’ve made you a version with just straight up major and minor chords, maybe it’ll be more to your taste: https://goo.gl/iz77k4…
That was fun! I made this song: https://goo.gl/cdq42R
