I get annoyed about that line a little. I mean… "There is another" ignites a whole lot of mystery and anticipation and then in the end it was who? Leia? If we're getting more 'Yoda-philosophy' about it then Vader? It's not the most satisfying line considering what we got in RotJ.

I was a wreck for a few days, but now it's more of an ache with occasional tears if something (this article for example) reminds me how impactful and great she was. Leia will always exist in some form, but we lost a real hero in Carrie Fisher.

This is the only time i've ever been so emotional about a celebrity's death. I'm teary now for goodness' sake.

He's the easiest to talk to for the guest by the looks of it. He doesn't interrupt unless it's for clarification and he's funny without yelling at the guest or, most annoyingly, over them.

I don't know enough about debates to know why he isn't an effective debater. What exactly does he do? i've seen videos of people walking out of his talks without hearing his points (which just makes him look like a bigger person and thus more 'likeable') but i haven't seen him do anything terribly off-putting in

You know it's a weird, shitty time when you want Ashton Kutcher to do anything.

Adding to this: Kylo was trying to subdue her, not kill her.

Damn it I was gonna say that!

Olivia Colman is a stand out in just about everything she's in.

It's one of my favourites of the year. It's not the technical/objective best, but I had a lot of fun with it, and the performances were really good. Especially Alden Ehrenreich and Channing Tatum ehose scenes are absolute highlights.

If the question is which I think is better then I'm saying Rogue One. I don't share the criticisms a lot of people have about the characters, and the CGI for Tarkin didn't bother me the second time. The choppy beginning is my biggest issue. I'm curious about what the reshoots removed.

Yeah, The Piano needed more Donnie Yen.

Despite my general animosity toward resurrecting dead actors using visual effects, I think her showing up as a force ghost (without lines) would be nice, In fact, assuming episode 9 is a quality movie to begin with, her showing up and standing with Luke and Han will emotionally cripple me.

You just made me realise how great Carrie Fisher would have been as Lois Lane, my other childhood screen hero. So now i'm sadder somehow.

It's really amazing that we can even accomplish this with technology, so as a person who likes to discuss effects i'm geeking out a bit over that. But i think that Tarkin should have only had half the scenes he did, with most of them being holograms. Leia's appearance doesn't bother me as much because it's so brief

Jesus Christ, no… This one really hurts. Rest in peace to this courageous and inspirational woman.

I'm reading through it as well and will be starting in 'So Long and Thanks for All the Fish' later in the week. I honestly can't believe I waited this long to start the series.

It's 6:30am in Australia, I'm up to travel to relatives for Christmas. I hope you all have a happy/merry whatever-istmas!

I'd watch that over anything Zack Snyder puts out.

Considering the life she has lead it seems that going before Ford and Hamill is not surprising, but it's still a big ball of fucking No.
