She's one of the greats. Always witty and fierce no matter where she is. More Fisher please, universe.

There is really nothing else to say except that I hope she pulls through.
This is why we can't have nice Thickes
The X-Men movies got a lot about Cyclops wrong, in addition to several other characters. The casting was right, but it's really never seemed like the studio/writers cared about the X-Men who weren't Wolverine or Professor X. I'd guess that that obvious disinterest is why Scott Summers is so unappealing in the movies.
Honestly, Hannibal (the series) had a really satisfying ending. It could have continued, but the way Fuller and Co. wrapped it up was unique and true to the show. Once i got past my initial ill-wishing I found i was perfectly happy with the finale.
I rewatched Silence straight after rewatching the Hannibal series, and i must say that, even though i believe Mads is superior, Hopkins still does a great job. He doesn't get hammy until the sequels for me.
Ugh, I don't even have the strength to say 2016 is fucking awful anymore.
Well, I didn't see a lot of female heroes on television growing up, so as a result I'll always be happy to see more nowadays (especially in family films like Star Wars and Ghosbusters). Boys have always had screen heroes to look up to, a female Ghostbusters/whatever isn't going to hurt them.
I gotta say… I'd watch that. Not because that sounds good (remaking A Clockwork Orange in any capacity is a bad idea) but any woman even doing the half the stuff that Alex does will make certain people lose their mind.
At this point, i'll watch that woman read the phone book.
Go you! Getting through the nerves is the hardest part. And i'll bet you do it brilliantly again. I didn't know that Arsenic and Old Lace was a play, either so you've educated me on top of your already cool achievement.
2016 is a shitstorm of tragedy, stupidity and nonsense.
The weirdest thing for me is that my racist grandmother still preferred Hillary. A white, retired lady whose socio-economic background makes her Trump's prime audience, still thought he was a piece of shit. She isn't on Facebook, but if she were she'd yell at every Trump supporter she saw.
i use Facebook all the time, its my primary way of keeping in touch with friends and my coworkers and I even have a group chat to communicate information quickly. But still, I would never recommend it for news. Especially not on politics. I wouldn't even recommend politics to be anywhere near Facebook. You just find…
So: an intelligent, thoughtful science fiction movie lead by one of my favourite actresses working today that has also been given what is basically an A by the notorious A.A Dowd? Fuck yes.
I think at the very least that if the electoral and popular votes don't match up then they should defer to the popular vote. That's the people's vote. That's what democracy is supposed to look like.
Counter-counterpoint: We don't talk about that
Oh man, I'm Australian and I shed tears. This man won. Like, he really won. I swear i could feel every single bit of progress America had made in the last eight years go backward.
South Park can be enjoyed on multiple levels. You can tune in for the crass jokes and stupidity, or you can look into it for social/political commentary. Parker and Stone cater to both very well. Of course, it will also mean that insufferable know-it-alls come out of the woodwork and act 'enlightened' and like they're…
It's like with Star Trek. Where a shocking number of its fans are actually conservatives even though its literally the most consistently socially progressive television series ever.
