Wow. What a bunch of dumbass motherfuckers.

A fucking idiot with a lot more money than me. I cannot believe this was not on the list. I LOL’ed hard when the van caught fire.

Lotus Elan, when you’ve got as little car as possible you need a colour that makes it stand out.

I did not see a vote for the Mac n Cheese Bug Eye WRX!!!

agreed. i havent bought a “new” phone since the iphone 6. got gifted a Samsung note, then bought a pixel 3 a year after it was released, then in the last two years went back to iphone and had another free gifted XR and currently on an iphone 11 from my work i got a year ago.

I upgraded from an iPhone XR (5 years old) to an iPhone 14 Pro Max and it was aWORLDS difference in performance.  Year over year incremental changes are simply not worth it.  I think your point lends to the renewal cycle changing from what used to be yearly to every couple of years.

Germaine Lussier seems like a nice man.

Yeah, the price increase of phones has made the former two year update cycle obsolete. How much more power do phones need? Candy Crush will run just as well on an iPhone 12 as an iPhone 15. I think most people upgrade now when their batteries can’t hold a charge anymore. An iPhone with a USB-C port will be neat

At some point even the fanboys and early adopters will likely tire of the constant upgrade cycle. And maybe I’m off base but it seems like the latest and greatest these days are much more incremental upgrades in terms of overall performance. Back in the day, the iPhone 4 was a monumental upgrade over something like

This isn’t a democracy, or some board-driven campaign. Musk owns it outright. He’s never going to listen and he’s never going to back down. Your Twitter is dead. The sooner you recognize that, the sooner you can let it go.

Oh wait KaiUno, you’re suffering from the same thing!

Sounds like she’s single again and I’m over here with a dry butthole.

I watched to the videos too, and found them very tongue in cheek.

Sigh, Elon made the first mistake, you don’t talk about billionaire fight club.

Wait, are you saying I’ve been supercooling my phone all this time for nothing???

Kneejerk reaction: goooooood! FGC, join the PC Masta Raceeeeeeee

Well, part of it started with Musk. Musk saw it as MORAL issue. He viewed it as a “laptop class” who want to work from home with absolutely no restrictions while viewing themselves superior to people who CAN’T. That’s why he stated that office workers could do remote work…IF they spent a minimum 40 hours at the

My personal take is that there are C-Level executive who signed on to longer term leases or built office towers that now threaten to sit idle, making them look stupid.

To be fair it really depends on the business, some things worked a lot better WFH and some other things worked a lot worse. I was in a job where I was basically supervising subsidiary companies, and some of our work on the administrative side got a lot slicker. However a lot of the things that it turns out relied on

It’s a bit of everything. Some companies plainly don’t trust their employees to work unless they have eyes on them. Some others are in long-term leases that they cannot break without huge financial penalties and some others spent a lot of money on new buildings just before the pandemic hit so they want RTO to justify
