I sprung for a 40v Ryobi mower a few months back. Our lot is about 12k sq ft of grass; it takes 2 charges of the battery to get thru, but its not a huge deal since I like to take breaks between the front and back lawn. The Ryobi cuts reasonably well- I would say our old Bolens did a slightly better job.
